Technology Stack & Infrastructure Roadmap
Eligibil.org is an AI-powered funding intelligence platform for startup founders. Below is the current technology stack powering the MVP and the planned cloud infrastructure for scaling.
Current stack (MVP — live)
| Layer | Technology |
|---|---|
| Server | Node.js + Express 4 |
| Database | Supabase PostgreSQL + pgvector for semantic search |
| Frontend | Vanilla HTML/JS, Preact components (CDN) |
| Auth | bcrypt + express-session (custom, server-side) |
| AI — Embeddings | AWS Bedrock Titan Embed V2 / OpenAI text-embedding-3-small (grant vectorization) |
| AI — Extraction | AWS Bedrock Claude / Anthropic Claude API (grant parsing, enrichment) |
| Resend (transactional, onboarding, deadline alerts) | |
| Search | pgvector cosine similarity + full-text fallback |
| Hosting | Google Cloud Run (containerized) |
| i18n | 4 languages: Romanian, English, Russian, Ukrainian |
| Monitoring | Sentry (errors + profiling), Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity |
AI use cases (current + planned)
- Document analysis — parsing and scoring pitch decks (PDF/PPTX), pitch videos (transcription + scoring), whitepapers and websites against funding eligibility criteria
- Eligibility matching — semantic comparison between founder profiles and the structured database of 700+ funding programs
- Recommendation generation — natural language gap analysis and improvement recommendations per funding opportunity
- Grant extraction — automated parsing of funding program announcements from emails, web pages and documents
- Multi-language support — operating in Romanian, English, Russian and Ukrainian for the target markets
Planned AWS infrastructure (roadmap)
As the platform scales beyond MVP, the following AWS services are planned for production infrastructure:
Amazon BedrockAI-assisted matching, document analysis and recommendation generation (core AI infrastructure)
Amazon S3Document and asset storage (pitch decks, whitepapers, exports)
Amazon CloudFrontFast content delivery for static assets and public pages
AWS LambdaServerless workflows for grant ingestion, scoring and alerts
Amazon API GatewayBackend API management and rate limiting
Amazon RDS PostgreSQLStructured data storage with pgvector for semantic search
Amazon OpenSearchSemantic and faceted search across funding programs
Amazon SESEmail notifications, deadline alerts and onboarding sequences
Amazon EventBridgeScheduled ingestion pipelines and automation
Amazon CloudWatch + AWS BudgetsMonitoring, alerting and cost control
Product roadmap
- Q2 2026 — MVP early access: grant catalog, AI matching, document analysis, user profiles
- Q3 2026 — Public launch: automated grant ingestion, deadline alerts, consortium matching
- Q4 2026 — Scale: expanded grant database (1500+ programs), API access, advanced analytics
